Salomon UTH 2021 cancelled

Dear Runners,

first of all, we would like to thank you for your patience and trust in the race. Hopefully, all of you are healthy and you train hard wherever you live. We are facing challenges again and again, and we needed some time to figure out how to go on. Continuously following the news from Hungary and internationally, we decided that the 2021 Salomon Ultra-Trail Hungary have to be cancelled. Believe me, it was a very hard decision to make. We know that you were looking forward to the race, just as much as we were. The date of the next UTH is 4-5th June 2022. If you have a valid registration for the 2021 UTH, you can choose from the following options:

A: You take over your registration for the 2022 race. Your 2021 registration will be valid for next year’s race, which will take place on June 4-5, 2022. If you decide for this option, you have nothing to do, you do not have to register separately, you do not need to pay anything. You only need to write to us in case your dietary habits have changed and you want to have a meal with meat instead of the vegetarian option or in case you lost so much weight that you need a smaller t-shirt. B: You keep your money on our bank account. In this case we will keep 100% of your money and you will be able to use it for another future event or during the races in the Peaks series. There is no deadline for using this amount. If you take this option, however, you don’t have a guaranteed place at the 2022 Salomon UTH. C: You can ask for a refund. In this case we will hold on to our original policy and we will transfer you 50% of the original fee.
